四年级下册Unit 8 How are you?

   一、教学内容:

译林出版社 四年级下册 Unit 8 How are you?  (Story time) period 1

教材简解:

  本单元的核心内容围绕着电话展开,本部分呈现的是Yang Ling生病在家并两次与Miss Li通电话的情景,以打电话的形式呈现了老师对学生健康状况的询问和关心。生病是学生日常生活中常见的,课堂上配上真实的场景会较轻松地将本单元的交际用语进行教学。

目标预设

1、The learners can talk about some illness

Whats the matter?         I have a cold and a fever.

Whats the matter with?   He \she has a cold and a fever.

2、The learners can make a telephone call:

Hello, this is speaking. May I speak to ?

Hello, this is(speaking)

3、The learners can care about others:

I am sorry to hear that.

Take care, xxx.

  四、教学重点:

  五、教学难点:

    句型:正确使用电话用语This is ... speaking .May I speak to ...?

六、设计理念:

   语篇教学中,可以结合学生已有的语言知识(四年级下册Unit7),进行新旧知识的衔接与整合。本课主要采用任务型教学和情景式教学相结合。另外,通过各种媒体,为学生创设较为真实的语言情景让学生来运用所学的知识,使学生感受到如临其境,触境生情。

七、设计思路:

课的开始直接引出课题以及本节课学生要掌握的内容,通过在Free talk中引出人物Yang LingMiss Li,并创设打电话的场景,让学生帮助他们一起到达完成电话,并完成他们路上的“障碍物”即课文的学习。

1、play the song by the computer.

1、Listen and follow the song  《Hello , how are you?》before class.

2、Sing the song; Greetings.

Step 2 Presentation

1、Let’s talk

T: look at the picture, what can you see? who can you see?

T: Who’s absent?

T: Do you know where she is?

Ss: I can see ..

Ss: Yang Ling is absent.

Ss: She’s

 2、Let’s learn how to make a telephone call

T: Miss Li doesn’t know where Yang Ling is. She is worried(担心)about Yang Ling. What should Yang Ling do?

T: You are so clever. If you are Yang Ling, How do you make a telephone call to Miss Li?

T:Open your books, turn to p50, read and underline the key sentences.

整体呈现四个单词,着重学习fever。

学生到书上找一找,杨玲是怎样说的。并引导学生学习安慰的语句:I’ sorry to hear that,和关心的语句:take care。

跟读录音,模仿录音。

选择一种语气,读一读,演一演。
