[教材简解]
本单元的话题是谈论兴趣爱好,主要功能为引导学生掌握“What do/does…like doing? … like/likes doing…”等日常交际用语,能体会并运用三单形式。本单元内容贴近我们的实际生活,能够体现《英语课程标准》的人文性和工具性。在教学中,教师应尽可能地创设与实际生活相似的场景,引导学生运用本单元所学内容谈论自己的兴趣爱好。
[目标预设]
1、能掌握理解story time 并能朗读。
2、初步掌握并理解词汇及短语:be good at,also,a lot of,both,read,词组play the piano, watch films, be good at, read stories和句型I like doing… He/She likes doing …
3、初步理解主语为第三人称单数时动词的变化形式。
4、培养学生用英语交际的能力。
5、初步了解几种爱好,通过讨论爱好激发学生学习英语的乐趣。
[重点、难点]
教学重点:(1)整体感知文本内容,能正确理解朗读story time。
(2)初步理解主语为第三人称单数时动词的变化形式。
教学难点:(1)整体感知文本内容,能正确理解朗读story time。
(2)能运用对话中的句型交流,培养学生语言运用能力。
[设计理念]
在教学中,主要采用任务型教学。任务型教学是指教师通过引导语言学习者在课堂上完成任务来进行的教学,使学生在使用英语完成任务的同时,自然习得英语。
[设计思路]
在课堂开始,设计一系列热身活动,让学生投入到英语课堂中。在文本教学中,通过看一看,圈一圈,勾一勾,读一读,划一划,议一议等任务让学生在有序的阅读教学中习得知识与技能。

[设计意图]本环节运用对话以及对老师的了解自然导入话题hobby,并且让学生在环节中自然感受like的用法。

1、揭题:Unit 4 Hobbies(指导学生对于Hobby复数的变化)

T: We are talking about hobbies, they are talking about hobbies, too.Who are they?
(通过观察图片,得出答案。培养学生观察图片的能力。)
While- reading

(Tips:相同的单词在不同的情境中有不同的意思。)

[设计意图]整体感知文本,通过看动画全面把握文本内容,并在观看动画的过程中把握文本所谈到的一些爱好,进行教授。

[设计意图]上课初始,教师和学生都谈论了些自己的爱好,再结合好坏爱好的讨论,回到上课的话题进行讨论,首尾呼应。
